Associate Director, Medical Affairs (Outcomes Research)


Job Description
The position will be primarily responsible for design, conduct, and maintenance of the CardioDx clinical registry. This position will be involved in the design and conduct of ongoing and future clinical and epidemiological studies as well as manuscript preparation for these activities. This position will provide a clinical perspective to cross-functional teams, including Research and Development, Clinical Operations, Marketing, Commercial Lab, and Customer Service. This position is expected to work with minimal supervision and to react quickly and professionally to changes in business priorities. This position will report to the Chief Medical Officer.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the establishing, implementing and maintaining of the commercial registry
  • Provide deep epidemiological oversight to existing and planned clinical trials and pharmacoeconomic analyses
  • Lead the manuscript development effort and coordinate internal and external resources and contributions
  • Serve as clinical trial liaison to other CardioDx departments
  • Provide input into any US and OUS regulatory submissions
  • Ensure all product literature and promotional material meets applicable clinical requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Advanced technical degree or MPH required. RN, Pharm.D or MD preferred
  • 5-8 years of experience beyond training, with a combination of academic and/or industry experience in pharmaceutical, device, or genomics industries in the areas of outcomes research and patient registry management

Director / Senior Director of Biostatistics and Quantitative Analysis


Job Description
Overall responsibility for all biostatistical/clinical analysis, statistical model development, and process development for the company’s products. Management of an internal group of employees with backgrounds in mathematics, statistics, biochemistry/biophysics, and related disciplines, as well as external consultants. Decision maker on statistical evaluation of clinical trials protocols and will play a key role in this area in interactions with regulatory agencies. Involved in the development of new in silico methods of gene and genetic discovery for molecular diagnostics. Key interactions with bioinformatics/software development, clinical laboratory, research, process development/automation and clinical groups.

Requirements
The successful candidate will have a PhD in statistics, biochemistry/biophysics, informatics (chemical or biological), or a related field and at least 10 years experience working in the pharma/biopharma, molecular diagnostics, or academic arenas. Experience in working in and/or leading multidisciplinary teams, composed of molecular biologists/bioinformaticians, process development and automation scientists, clinicians, and software developers is key as are excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Interest in underlying biology a plus. Experience with the analysis of large datasets is required; the ability to program in a variety of computer languages (R, SAS, others) is necessary.

Manager, National Managed Care Accounts


Job Description
The Manager of National Accounts is responsible securing favorable medical coverage policies for our diagnostic tests, ensuring CardioDx is considered an in-network provider and negotiating contracted managed care pricing that supports corporate and territory goals.

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Works with the Managed Care Marketing team to identify target payers and to develop strategic and tactical managed care business plans to enable patient and provider access to CardioDx diagnostic tests.
  • The role will also work closely with the clinician sales team to ensure payer targets are aligned with key sales targets across territories.
  • Establish and expand upon relationships with key stakeholders within national target payers at the executive, departmental and operational level. Key payer targets will include CMOs, Medical Directors, Care Management teams, Utilization Management teams, Network Management Contracting executives and others.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the national Managed Care business as it relates the cardiovascular marketplace.
  • The position requires the skills to deal with the concepts and complexities associates with the cardiology disease states associated with our diagnostic products.

Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Arts or Sciences required, Master of Business Administration or Health Administration a plus
  • 3 or more years working national accounts and contracting in managed care payers of all types of segments
  • 3-5 years managed care contracting experience in the health care industry
  • Established relationships with key managed care decision makers (both national and local) and related influence groups
  • Strong communicator, both verbally and orally, with ability to maintain open communication with internal employees, managers and customers
  • Ability to prioritize and drive to results with a high emphasis on quality, innovation and maintaining corporate ethical standards

Program Manager, Managed Care Marketing


Job Description:
  • Support product reimbursement strategy and payer relations/managed care sales through creation of sales tools, integration of internal/external clinical and economic data, healthcare economic value propositions, and related materials
  • Development and oversight of payer dossiers including synthesis of clinical and economic data, honing payer value messages, creation of technical writing content, layout and design
  • Conversion of economic analysis and supporting cost models into payer relations tools for use in discussions with commercial payer medical directors
  • Private payer market research including coordination of consultants, payer roundtables/ad boards, synthesis of data and summarizing results for internal and external use
  • Development of payer messaging and payer communication plans and coordination with product marketing and public relations

Requirements:

Job Description
We are looking for a self-motivated team player with a strong interest in the Sciences and specifically in biotechnology.  This individual will have the opportunity to work on the entire software development pipeline from requirements gathering, documentation, to development and validation. This person will also work and interact with a variety of departments ranging from R&D to Quality Assurance.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and improve components our in house CLIA Laboratory Information Management System. Work with various departments to deploy, test, and validate our LIMS system.

Job Description
The IT department at CardioDx is looking for a system administrator to manage desktop and server systems in a technically diverse environment. We run a mix of Linux, Windows and Mac OS desktops in front of Linux servers. Our group also manages a VOIP system that management and marketing can't live without, a commercial laboratory system that our scientists depend on every day, and portable connectivity infrastructure that our sales and marketing team rely on when they're on the road. We need people who can provide world-class service to all of these groups across all of these systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Keep IT systems up and running 24/7
  • Install and configure Linux, Windows & Mac front-end and back-end systems
  • Maintain company network equipment (firewalls, switches, routers, etc.)
  • Manage VoIP devices and phone system
  • Perform backup & recovery
