Company Overview

Founded in 2004, CardioDx is a molecular diagnostics company located in Palo Alto, California. CardioDx is developing clinically validated molecular diagnostics specifically for cardiovascular disease. Through novel molecular tools and informatics, the company's products and services empower physicians with more precise information and greater confidence for individual treatment decisions. CardioDx diagnostic tests will help cardiologists identify patients who will benefit most from advanced cardiovascular therapies, enabling them to deliver the right treatment to the right patient at the right time.

CardioDx is focused in the areas of coronary artery disease, cardiac arrhythmias, and heart failure. The team is comprised of cardiologists, scientists, biostatisticians, and clinical trialists who have extensive experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries. CardioDx is a privately held company funded by Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield & Byers, Texas Pacific Group Ventures, and Mohr Davidow Ventures.

CardioDx is currently conducting two ongoing, prospective clinical studies in the U.S.:

• PREDICT (Personalized Risk Evaluation and Diagnosis In the Coronary Tree)
• DISCERN (Diagnostic Investigation of Sudden Cardiac Event Risk)
