CardioDx® is actively pursuing third-party payer reimbursement for Corus® CAD and helping patients with financial support when insurance coverage is insufficient in covering the cost of the test.
Patient Financial Support
CardioDx provides complete patient financial support by offering generous patient financial assistance and providing a dedicated team of insurance experts available to work with patients, clinicians, and payers to obtain positive reimbursement through billing and appeals. For insured patients, CardioDx will bill the insurance plan and work directly with them for payment. For patients who are uninsured, or who are financially unable to cover costs not reimbursed by insurance, CardioDx offers the CARE Patient Financial Assistance Program.
Corus Access and Reimbursement (CARE) Patient Financial Assistance Program
CardioDx has created the generous CARE Patient Financial Assistance Program to lessen the financial burden for patients. All patients are encouraged to apply for the Financial Assistance Program, since they may qualify for a full or partial discount off the cost of the Corus CAD test. To qualify, a patient must be a United States citizen or legal resident and must meet the household income eligibility requirement. Patients may apply for financial assistance before they get the test or after their insurance company has determined how much it will pay for the test.
