Overview

CardioDx is a genomic diagnostics company developing clinically validated tests to aid in assessing patients and tailoring care of individual patients with cardiovascular disease, including coronary artery disease (CAD), cardiac arrhythmias, and heart failure.

We target our product development efforts where genomics can enhance patient care. By following the biology associated with cardiovascular disease, we select state-of-the-art research and development tools to deliver the genomic test that will best meet the identified clinical need.

2-0 Diagnostic Programs Overview

Following this model, our coronary artery disease (CAD) program is based on gene expression analysis, while our program in cardiac arrhythmias is primarily focused on a genetics approach. CardioDx continues to research and develop genomic solutions that leverage the molecular basis of cardiovascular disease and allow cardiologists to apply advancements in genomic medicine to clinical practice.

CardioDx employs prospective, multi-center clinical studies and rigorous data collection and analysis to develop clinically validated genomic tests. Additionally, with the knowledge that cardiovascular disease is multi-factorial, we carefully consider the importance of contributing clinical factors and/or biomarkers to develop robust and comprehensive tests.

CardioDx clinical study designs are characterized by:

  • Rigorous clinical phenotyping of subjects
  • Significant sample sizes to ensure statistical power
  • Independent patient cohorts for product development and validation
