Will my insurance cover the Corus CAD test?

Like many new tests, Corus® CAD is not yet covered by all insurance plans. CardioDx® is committed to patient access and is actively pursuing third-party payer reimbursement for Corus CAD and helping patients with financial support when insurance coverage is insufficient in covering the cost of the test.

CardioDx offers very generous patient financial assistance and provides a dedicated team of insurance experts available to work with you. For insured patients, CardioDx will bill your insurance plan and work directly with them for payment. For patients who are uninsured, or who are financially unable to cover costs not reimbursed by insurance, CardioDx offers the CARE Patient Financial Assistance Program.

To help you with your insurance coverage, CardioDx will:

  • Bill your insurance plan or Medicare for payment of a Corus CAD test ordered by your physician
  • Work directly with your insurance company for payment of the test
  • Provide financial assistance to those patients who are uninsured or unable to cover the cost of the Corus CAD test not covered by insurance. All patients with or without insurance are encouraged to apply for the CARE Patient Financial Assistance Program, because you may receive a full or partial discount off the test
